Steve is the creator of Bizgenics Foundation, its programs and Bizgenics® Innovation Framework. While he maintains interests in several for-profit enterprises, most of his time is donated to Bizgenics Foundation nonprofit programs. Tim Caminos is a Hawaii based entrepreneur, CEO of of SuperGeeks and Co-Founder of RankHI, a full service digital marketing agency and LeiHut.com, an online store of Hawaii products. His background includes public relations, digital marketing and business development.
Myron Nakata, Secretary & Board Member
Myron is a co-founder of Lemonade Alley and owner of LeiHut.com, an online store of Hawaii products. He is also a shareholder of BizGym.com. Myron has decades of experience in a variety of businesses as an owner, investor and operator. He currently helps out with multiple non-profits including being the Chair for the Aloha Chapter of the National Eagle Scout Association, as well as a board member for the Boy Scouts, Hawaii Council for Economic Education and the Family Business Center of Hawaii.
Unyong is the Executive Director of Development for the UH Foundation – Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii at Manoa. Unyong leads the Shidler Advancement Team that manages alumni relations, fundraising, communications, events, and stewardship. Through her partnership of 10 years with Dean Roley, they have raised nearly $255 million for the Shidler College of Business’ students, faculty, and programs; $228 million of that total to date is from namesake donor, Mr. Jay H. Shidler. Strategic program development, board management, alumni outreach, and donor-centric stewardship are among Unyong’s other strengths. The first in her family to attend College and with scholarship assistance no less, Unyong’s professional journey has great personal meaning.
Unyong was recognized in 2014 as Pacific Business News’ class of “Forty Under 40,” in 2015 as the “Outstanding Professional Fundraiser of the Year” by the AFP – Aloha Chapter, and in 2018 as Pacific Business News’ “Women Who Mean Business” Leader and Hawaii Business Magazine’s “20 for the next 20.” Unyong is proud to serve on the boards of the Bizgenics Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, the Young Professionals Program, and the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership.
Louise K.Y. Ing is Director with Alston, Hunt, Floyd, and Ing. Her litigation and dispute resolution practice covers areas of law that impact businesses and business people on a daily basis, including contracts, commercial transactions, leases, employment, real estate, creditor’s rights and bankruptcy law, proprietary information, non-competition and confidentiality agreements and intellectual property. Louise has received numerous awards including Pacific Business News’ Women Who Mean Business Career Achievement Award in 2016 and Best Lawyers in America’s® 2015 Hawai‘i Lawyer of the Year for both Bankruptcy and Bet-the-Company Litigation. She active with a number of organizations in the state. She serves local nonprofits and business through her board of directors work with the University of Hawai`i Foundation, Child & Family Service, Hawaii State Bar Foundation and Island Holdings.
Alice is the founder and Chief Happiness Officer of Happiness University. She is an expert life guide, and author of six nationally award-winning books on life wisdom, self-growth and happiness. She has two columns, one in MidWeek titled “A Mindful Moment,” and and an award-winning column in the Sunday Star-Advertiser called “Go Ask Alice” that offers pertinent life guidance. Dennis Burns, Board Member
Dennis is a seasoned veteran of both TV and film production. While his shooting credits are long, he’s also a founder and owner of Pacific Focus (a video production firm), 1013 Integrated Branding (a creative agency) and Visitor Video (a hotel in-room channel that services over 24,000 hotel rooms in Hawai‘i). Dennis is also one of the founding fathers of Lemonade Alley, having bent here from the start to cover and promote the story through video storytelling.
Aaron is the General Manager of American Carpet One. In his downtime he likes to contribute to non-profit organizations like Bizgenics. In pursuit of a better Lemonade Alley experience for keiki, Aaron reached out to the community, and reeled in prizes and donations for the program!
Amber is a professional sales coach at Southwestern Consulting, and recipient of the #1 Organizational Business Builder Award worldwide in 2015. As a top salesperson and business builder, Amber lives the statement “Lead by Example.” While a sophomore in college, she began her sales career with Southwestern Advantage selling educational resources door-to-door. She consistently averaged over an 85-hour workweek, building her business in states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Virginia.
Riz is a serial entrepreneur, product designer and software development manager with 20 years of international-standard software production experience. With a major in computer science and a minor in AI, he first coded and sold his first commercial software when he was in high school. Riz leads our international software development teams for enterprise clients, and has architected, engineered and delivered numerous successful products. His interests lie in building scalable, fault-tolerant, high-traffic, intelligent platforms. When he is not doing anything tech, he loves to read and travel.
Devin is the Director of Operations for Bizgenics Foundation and oversees all foundation programs, outlook and website developments. Along operations, he is the co-founder of EcoOpps.com – a division of Bizgenics Foundation that features annual initiatives to improve our ecology, such as Project Lemon Tree and Billion Trees of Aloha. Devin also has experience in writing grants and applications for various foundation enterprises. Devin holds a fundamental role with BizzyB.com as he co-constructed the evaluation models of BizzyB, an innovation-based learning platform. As a pastime, Devin switches gears to entrepreneurship with a passion to continuously engage in the development of new software and startups.
Brannon Yamauchi, Social Media Videographer & User Interface Designer
Brannon has been a photography enthusiast since he was in high school, and was acknowledged by the Music Center’s Spotlight Awards for his work in the past. Since coming aboard Bizgenics, he has immersed himself in other facets of the arts, and excels in videography as well as user interface (UI) designing for Bizgenics apps. With a millennial mindset, he is innately adept at managing social media. This also strongly comes to his advantage when creating UI designs for the foundation’s web apps such as BizzyB.com. In the future, Brannon sees himself broadening his artistic potentials in synergy with innovation. He believes Bizgenics Foundation is the place to elevate and achieve his aspirations.
Kimee Balmilero, Program Director
Hawaii born actor Kimee Balmilero’s professional credits include: The 3X Emmy Nominated series “Hi-5,” the Original Broadway Cast of “Mamma Mia,” “Miss Saigon,” and “Hawaii Five-0.” While working in NYC and LA for 15+ years, she studied improv & sketch comedy at the famed Uprights Citizens Brigade Theatre in Hollywood. Since moving back to Hawaii in 2012, Kimee founded and is the “Head Sillypino” of improvhi a company and website dedicated to sketch and improv comedy in Hawaii. In March 2015, she created and produced the first ever Hawaii Sketch Comedy Festival at the Honolulu Museum of Art’s Doris Duke Theater.

John is a veteran web technologist who has built huge sites right from the start of the Internet. He also sports a deep background in music, television and video production. He currently focused on helping businesses and individuals establish a solid, concise, secure and easily maintainable online presence by combining existing day-to-day business operations with simple & modular web publishing tools, e-commerce, social media, open source software, slick APIs, localization, scalable hosting and compassionate tech support.
